The demand for our lakes remains at its highest level ever! Thus far in 2018, 78 homes have already traded hands and another 10 are pending sale in 2018. This will result in approximately 88 lake homes sold this year! Of these 88, the Lake Team is involved in 37% of these transactions! That is a huge number and we are fortunate to have a great team to handle these sales. The previous record for sales was 67 in both 2015 & 2016. Many ask, “Why the demand?”. We get frequent calls from new Atlanta residents whose children have friends with lake homes or who have met new friends in Atlanta with lake homes. When they realize the proximity to Atlanta and the escape that our lakes offer from city life, it is no wonder that our inventory is drying up rapidly.

In 2017 only 9 homes had sold by the end of October compared to 22 that have sold so far this year. In addition, 2 properties are pending sale. Sales in 2018 will certainly exceed 2017 on Lake Rabun. The decreasing inventory has been the continuing story of 2018.
SEED LAKE
7 properties have sold so far this year and another 2 are pending sale. We expect 2018 to equal or exceed 2017 as the best year ever despite the low inventory.
