2023 has finally arrived, and we are very excited about this year and what it may bring to each of us.

In 2020 and 2021, almost 200 properties were sold. However, only 33 homes sold on all four lakes in 2022 due to meager inventory — the lowest number since 2009. The Lake Team was fortunate enough to work with 14 buyers and sellers of these sales — more than any other agent in Rabun County. We sincerely thank our Sellers and Buyers for placing their trust in us. 2022 was also our first complete year being associated with Ansley Real Estate /Christie’s International, and we were thrilled to be named new members of The Circle of Excellence.

Over the last few years, we all have endured different struggles and challenges, but through it all, we have learned a lot, gotten stronger, and understand more about the value of life. While there is so much out of our hands, there is much we can control. Together let us move forward into 2023 with a sense of humor, kindness, gratitude, and authenticity. 

As we write this, we have just watched one of the most exciting college football games in a long time. Georgia edged out Ohio to earn the right to play in the College Football Championship next week. Keep your fingers crossed!
