There are a number of lodging, dining, shopping and wellness options at Lake Rabun.

The Lake Rabun Hotel has been around since 1922 and offers a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable accommodations and a fine dining restaurant that embraces locally grown food. The hotel was lovingly restored by preservationists in 2008 and is an ode to the bygone days with much of its historic character still intact.

Glen Ella Springs Inn, in operation since 1890, provides guests a peaceful place of renewal and a fine restaurant in a lovely setting. This is a wonderful spot to host a wedding or simply to enjoy the farmstead atmosphere.

The Open Door @ Alley’s Ol’ Store, in Historic Lakemont Village at Lake Rabun, serves fantastic lunch fare and sells fine wines, groceries, and other items. “Our door is open year ‘round to serve you delicious soups, sandwiches and desserts, accompanied by soft drinks, coffee, beer or wine. We also have a variety of unique, local, and handcrafted gifts so you can browse while you wait. We offer indoor and outdoor dining (weather permitting) in a relaxed atmosphere, against the backdrop of Tiger Creek. Come on in…eat…shoppe…and stay a while!”

Lakemont Gallery, also located in Historic Lakemont Village, sells art from various local artists and often hosts workshops.

Mind and Body Haven offers massage, yoga, personal training, and more. Ena Weinstein – former two time Olympian and owner of Mind and Body Haven, established herself mostly by word of mouth. Her consistent quality care and knowledge, along with her professional and meticulous yet friendly personality allowed her to quickly gain high profile clientele that includes Fortune 500 CEO’s, professional athletes, and entertainment celebrities.

 The Well is a new studio offering an array of wellness classes in Lakemont.  The Well is also available to rent for private events.
