The Lake Burton Civic Association is an active homeowners association for residents of the Lake Burton area and sponsors many events throughout the year such as:

• Barbecue Fund Raisers

• Lake Burton Clean Up

• Boating Safety Courses

• Bluegrass Parties

• Fried Chicken Fund-Raiser

• Tour of Homes

• Golf Tournaments

While not sponsored by The Lake Burton Civic Association, the July 4th fireworks, the duct tape regatta and  Lake Burton Fun Run are all fun activities on the lake.
