LAKE BURTON

In the early Spring of 2011, a highly unusual tornado ripped across Northern Georgia. Lake Burton was in the direct path of the Category 4 storm. While the impact was devastating at the time, Lake Burton homeowners and the local community came together to support one another showing a sense of what an amazing place we live in. While these photos are quite disturbing, today, there is little evidence left of the enormous impact the storm had on Lake Burton.
