The fall season is upon us, and the leaves are beginning to drop from our beautiful trees. Along with the leaves, inventory continues to fall. Just three years ago, there were 102 properties for sale on our three lakes. Today there are only 12! Only 25 lake homes have sold in 2022, with two more pending sale. Of these 27 sales this year, The Lake Team has been involved in 10 of these transactions. We are grateful that our sellers and buyers have entrusted us to assist them in these transactions.

It is still a seller’s market and an ideal time to sell if you are considering a change of venue. Now that the summer has completed, hopefully, some potential sellers will consider having us do a market analysis. This will allow homeowners to understand the present lake market and what that means for their property. Historically as the lake is drawn down, sales continue to slow. This year with the lake market almost depleted, the fall and winter will be even slower.
