March ended with a flurry of activity for the Lake Team. So far in 2018, we have closed six lake homes and have three more pending sale. We are working hard with many buyers to find the perfect spot in time for the summer. As June and July are traditionally the peak months for closings, we expect the activity to continue through May before slowing down in preparation for the busy selling months of August through October.

LAKE BURTON
Within the past month, several homes have gone under contract on Lake Burton. In 2017, seven homes had sold by the end of March, compared to nine for 2018. Of the seven pending sales, ALL have been on the market for over three years. The older inventory is being cleared out, and we are seeing multiple offers on newer listings with some going under contract very quickly.

Lake Rabun inventory is meager at the moment, while sales remain strong. In 2017, only one home had sold by the end of March, compared to five for 2018. There are just nine lots/tear downs for sale and only 16 homes ranging from $499,000 to $1,695,000 for purchase. The Lake Team needs more listings as demand is strong for this beautiful lake!
