Lake Rabun Drawdown Schedule

Fellow LRA Members, as you know we will see the first lake drawdown in 3 years beginning On October 23rd of this year. The next drawdown will be in 2023. In preparation for any work done on the shoreline, you will need to go through the permit process with Georgia Power. Follow the link below and select the type of maintenance you are looking to do at the bottom of the page. 

As a reminder, here is the schedule for the fall drawdown:

October 23, 2020 Lake starts down gradually November 4, 2020    10’ feet down 
December 24, 2020   Begins Refilling 
December 31, 2020   Normal Pool
