Having completed the first month in 2021, the demand for a home in Rabun County continues from 2020. Unfortunately, there are now only 28 homes for sale on all three lakes, and there is not enough supply to meet the demand. At this point in 2020, there were almost three times as many homes for sale! We can’t stress it strongly enough that now is the best time EVER to consider selling your lake home.

LAKE BURTON
One year ago, four homes had sold and five more were under contract on Lake Buton. For 2021 there are four homes pending sale and three sales completed.
The inventory is now down to the lowest we have ever seen. If you are thinking of selling, please call or email us for a specific market analysis and see what your home could be worth. We have several active buyers just waiting for the right fit, and your home could be the one!
LAKE RABUN
There are 2 properties under contract on Lake Rabun — both are home sites. If you ride around Lake Rabun, there are several homes under construction. The majority of these are owned by long-time Lake Rabun devotees that are looking to spend more time at the lake.
Our inventory is historically low. We count only four homes for sale that are “move-in” ready! We do have a few quiet listings that would be great options for someone wanting to get on the lake or to upgrade to a better location.
We have been fortunate to be able to list The Barn Inn for sale. The history behind this property is super interesting and provides a glimpse of “old Lake Rabun”. Now for sale as a private residence or a potential event/wedding space.
