With only 95 properties on the market, there is less than an 18 months supply of inventory on all lakes and that is shrinking rapidly.  The inventory was once over a five year supply. With 67 properties already sold this year and another 14 pending, 2018 will turn out to be a record-breaking year.

The Lake Burton market is VERY dynamic at the moment and buyers are clamoring for more inventory.  This year 46 homes have already sold with another 5 pending sales. This compares to 33 sales at this same time in 2017! Undoubtedly there will be more sales in 2018 than any other year on Lake Burton as the previous record was 47 in 2013.

LAKE RABUN

In 2017 only 9 homes had sold by the end of September compared to 14 that have sold so far this year. In addition, 7 properties are pending sale.  Sales in 2018 will certainly exceed 2017 in sales on Lake Rabun.  The decreasing inventory has been the continuing story of 2018.
