Where have all the lake listings gone? For 2018, there have been 22 lake sales with another 13 pending sale. At this time in 2017, only 14 lake homes had sold. Additionally, there have only been 14 new listings this year, compared to 24 in 2017 at this time. Inventory continues to decline, and we have moved from a time when there was a supply of over three years of homes for sale to a time where the inventory has dwindled to lows not seen in many years! We have begun to see multiple offers on properties and new listings selling in only a few weeks.

LAKE BURTON
Within the past month, several homes have gone under contract on Lake Burton. In 2017, seven homes had sold by the end of April, compared to 15 for 2018. Additionally, there are 11 homes pending sale.  The older inventory is being cleared out, and buyers are beginning to see few good lakehouse options. We are seeing multiple offers on newer listings with some going under contract very quickly.

We have now sold over 59 homes on Lake Burton. To celebrate, we are inviting all of our Lake Burton buyers to a cocktail party at LaPrades Marina on June 9th to meet one another. If you bought your home with the Lake Team, please save the date!

LAKE RABUN
To say that Lake Rabun inventory is meager at the moment is an understatement. Sales remain strong, even with the current lowe inventory. In 2017, only two homes had sold by the end of April, compared to six that have sold so far this year. The Lake Team needs more listings as demand is strong for this beautiful lake!

We have now sold over 76 homes on Lake Rabun. To celebrate, we are hosting a party for all of our past and recent Lake Rabun buyers on June 3rd to meet one another. If you bought your home with the Lake Team, please save the date!

SEED LAKE
Seed Lake has one property pending sale and 10 actively for sale. The Seed Lake market offers some great values and should not be overlooked.
