Change is in the Air So much change is happening in Rabun County. A new wine bar, Napa South, is about to open in downtown Clayton. Construction on The Old Clayton Inn has begun. The new owners are adding a third floor, a restaurant, and a spa and are rebranding it as The Bridge Creek Inn. The new owners of Louie’s on the Lake at Lake Rabun will start renovations soon, and they will have Max’s Lakeside upstairs (a coal-fired pizzeria) and The Swing Bar downstairs. Burton, a new development near LaPrades at Lake Burton, has broken ground and will eventually feature single-family homes, a clubhouse with a swimming pool at the lake, a spa, and more. Change is also happening with some robust lake sales. In August, we sold five lake homes ranging in sales price from $800,000 to $4,750,000. Additionally, we have another three lake homes under contract. However, many buyers are still looking for a lake home, and the inventory remains scarce. As we say every month, if you are looking to sell, now is a GREAT time! Peace and kindness to all, Michael, Craig, and Elizabeth THE LAKE TEAM |
