Julep Farms

Located a short drive from Lakes Burton, Rabun and Seed in Dillard, Ga,  Julep Farms is a wonderful addition to the area for visitors and residents alike. Its gorgeous 22 acre setting is incredibly inviting as you drive by and even more inviting when you enter the bright, beautifully decorated main building, The Social House. Within The Social House you will find the restaurant, Julep Table, The Julep Market which carries unique gifts and art, and The Julep Coffee and Sweets Bar where you can grab a coffee and homemade pastry or purchase farm fresh eggs. On a recent Friday The Julep Table had a roaring fire going in the fireplace and was packed for lunch. The menu is varied with soups, salads, sandwiches (two of which are named after the owners’ children!), and parmesan truffle fries that should not be missed! The restaurant is also open for dinner and there is a full bar, The Julep Bar, which not surprisingly boasts several creative versions of Mint Juleps. After a delicious meal and some shopping in the market, make sure you check out the rest of the farm. You will find a wonderful fire pit in front of an adorable hen house with some very happy residents. In the pasturers you will see some precious mini horses and their friend, a large, very friendly white dog who will be eager to greet you. There are four cottages on the property for overnight stays and the venue can be rented out for corporate events or weddings. We are excited to have this wonderful new restaurant/ venue so close to the Lakes for all of us to enjoy and share with our guests.
