February 2021 Sales Update

February was a blur and a brr, with rain and cold weather dominating the beginning of the month. With sunshine and warmth, last week was a harbinger of summer and allowed us to get outside and enjoy the beauty of Rabun County while doing what we love best — showing lake homes. If you haven’t jumped into the market, you might want to do so soon. It sounds unbelievable, but there are only 23 properties for sale on all three lakes. A year ago, there were 86! Fortunately, we have a few quiet listings that are move in ready.

Lake Burton
One year ago, five homes had sold and seven more were under contract on Lake Buton. For 2021 the numbers are identical.The inventory is now down to the lowest we have ever seen. We have several active buyers just waiting for the right fit, and your home could be the one!

Lake Rabun
There are 2 properties under contract on Lake Rabun and another just sold at full price — all are home sites. If you ride around Lake Rabun, there are several homes under construction. The majority of these are owned by long-time Lake Rabun devotees that are looking to spend more time at the lake. Our inventory is historically low. We count only five homes for sale that are “move-in” ready! 

Seed Lake
There are now only three properties for sale on this peaceful lake — half the number for sale at this time in 2020! The Seed Lake homes will continue to offer exceptional values to interested buyers.
