The frenzy to own a home in Rabun County continues through the end of the summer. One year ago, there were 100 lake properties for sale in Rabun County. Today, there are only 39 properties for sale on all three lakes! This explosive sales growth, fueled by COVID-19 and a desire for a place to be able to seek a retreat, is pervasive across all properties in Rabun County. Beyond the lakes, there are only 150 single-family homes for sale today in Rabun County, ranging from $50,000 to $7,825,000. In July, 122 properties traded hands in Rabun County, most likely setting a record. New and quiet listings are selling quickly and, in some instances, at the full asking price.
