The fall season is here, and we are loving the crisp mornings and the slight coloring on the mountains. As the leaves start to drop, so has the lake inventory. One year ago, there were 12 lakefront properties for sale in Rabun County. Today, there are only six properties for sale on all three lakes! Despite the low inventory, The Lake Team is having another good year. We have sold 15 lake homes this year and now have sold a total of 340 lake homes.
It is still a seller’s market and an ideal time to sell if you are considering a change of venue. Now that the summer has completed, hopefully, some potential sellers will consider having us do a market analysis. This will allow homeowners to understand the present lake market and what that means for their property. Historically, as the lake is drawn down, sales continue to slow. With the lake market almost depleted this year, the fall and winter may be even slower.
