October 2020 Sales Update

The past four days have presented yet one more challenge to us in 2020! The flooding, power outages, and so many fallen trees kept workers from all walks of life very busy. We cannot say thanks enough to all the Georgia Power and HEMC linesman and support personal, Mountain Patrol and Mountain Lake Security, Tru-Vista folks, neighbors who assisted with many acts of kindness, and all others that pitched in to help us all make it through yet another trying time. We must not forget all the others that were injured and inconvenienced during this weather event. Hopeful we are through for the year.
Fortunately, the beauty of Rabun County comforts us, and apparently, many others. Sales of all price range and size continue to skyrocket.
115 lake homes have sold so far — and another 13 are under contract. At this point in 2019, 55 homes had sold, and 9 were under contract. Sales are precisely double what they were in 2019 at this time! These times may never be here again.
The Lake Team has been fortunate to sell 27 lake homes this year (8 in October). Although inventory is meager, we do have a couple of others that aren’t officially for sale and a few that we will be bringing to the market shortly. If you have ever thought about selling, we have buyers lining up to buy your home.
We are grateful to all our Buyers and Sellers during these hectic times. Please take this time and give thanks and share your gratitude with someone that may need a little bit of a lift.
