The Bright Side

During this crazy, uncertain time, I am trying my best to look at The Bright Side. While I must admit that having our 18 year old daughter and 20 year old son at home ALL the time can be challenging, I do believe there are far more positives to the situation… EVERY night has been a family game night or movie night, we have talked, truly talked, and I can honestly say that I know my children far better than I did a week ago. This is The Bright Side and it reminds me that this is how I feel in the summer at our lake house on Lake Rabun. In fact, this is the main reason we bought our house on Lake Rabun- to have a place to slow down and gather as a family. So, I am going to try to enjoy every moment with my family while I am “forced” to, but I am going to look forward to happier days this summer at Lake Rabun with my family and friends. I encourage you all to try to look at The Bright Side as well and know that we at The Lake Team are thinking about all of you during this troubling time.
