The Fall colors on Lakes Burton, Rabun and Seed are a sight to behold! Many people visit the area each Fall just to take in the changing leaf colors. Those who are not fortunate enough to own their own homes on one of the Lakes, come and stay with friends or at one of the local inns such as Glen-Ella and The Lake Rabun Hotel. Cars are often seen pulled over on the side of the winding Lake roads near the many hiking options such as Minnehaha Falls and Angel Falls on Lake Rabun and Hemlock Falls and Dick’s Creek Falls near Lake Burton. People enjoy these hikes year round, but particularly enjoy them in the cooler weather of the Fall and the beautiful changing leaf colors are an added benefit.
