As much as I would like to think that I invented my favorite lake activity- “Floating,” it is obvious from this picture that I did not. I cannot count the number of hours I have spent “Floating” with friends and family on the lake. Much like I used to pick up the phone to call my friends to come out and play, I now send texts to my lake friends asking if they want to come float. Many problems have been solved and confidences shared in the lake right off my dock. What happens while “Floating” stays on the lake! I also love sharing my favorite pastime with friends who are visiting. I have not met a friend who does not like to float. Each Spring I invest in new floats and somehow we always need more. The more I share my favorite activity, the more people want to join me making “Floating” even better- the more, the merrier! I encourage everyone to grab a friend and a float and get in the lake. I promise you will love it!
