WOW! With only 95 properties on the market, there is less than an 18 months supply of inventory on all lakes and that is shrinking rapidly.  The inventory was once over a five year supply. With 67 properties already sold this year and another 14 pending, 2018 will turn out to be a record-breaking year.

With the growth in Atlanta – in population, traffic and corporate headquarters, many are seeking our slice of paradise like never before.  Clayton is also experiencing growth but in a very good way.  The new businesses that have opened this year are thriving and breeding more in the future. Lake buyers are no longer looking at lake homes as just a second home.  Many are planning to make their lake home their primary home, if not now, in the future.

LAKE BURTON

The Lake Burton market is VERY dynamic at the moment and buyers are clamoring for more inventory.  This year 46 homes have already sold with another 5 pending sales. This compares to 33 sales at this same time in 2017! In 2017 only 9 homes had sold by the end of September compared to 14 that have sold so far this year.
