The lake market has reached record numbers in January. Over $12 million in Rabun County lake home sales were recorded during the month. Historically, January is slow, and these sales could bode well for the next eleven months. There are still five lake homes pending sale that will close in the next 30-45 days, and if the weather grants us a break, we will see buyers continue to pursue lake homes for the coming spring season.“Every rose has its thorns”…..inventory of existing lake homes for sale is experiencing a decrease overall, and that may have an impact on potential buyers for the rest of 2018. LAKE BURTONJanuary 2018 was also an excellent month for the Lake Burton home market. With approximately $11 million in sales during January, the year is off to a fantastic start. The Lake Team represented the seller of a $3 million home listed on Blalock Goldmine Road and our Team also has another $2.6 million home under contract.

LAKE RABUN
January 2018 was extremely good for the Lake Team and Lake Rabun. Of the three homes that were sold on the lake, The Lake Team was the listing agent, and we also were fortunate enough to bring the buyer to the closing table. We take this opportunity to welcome three new families to the lake!
